TIME FOR YOU

Time For You is a women-only group that runs on a Tuesday morning from 10am through to 12 noon, term time only. The group decides on the topics and sessions that they would like to have running. For example, these have included creating memory boxes ready for the summer holidays, a session in Hailey Woods with Into Nature, and sewing affirmations for positive mental health. This was all accompanied by plenty of tea, coffee, and biscuits.

 EMPLOYMENT support & courses

Employability Support

The Churn Project offers employability support on a one-to-one basis for individuals to look through CV writing, job applications, cover letters and general interview practice with a dedicated member of the team and a volunteer. Alongside this, there will be a number of courses running on Friday mornings at the Churn from Wellbeing, Confidence Building through to practical topics such as DIY for Women, and Upcycling.

The service is confidential and free to access – all in a welcoming environment over a cup of tea or coffee. We offer a listening ear and the belief that you can get that job.
