As part of our family support work, The Churn Project uses the PEEP Learning Together Programme. This programme helps us to support our parents, carers, babies and children to learn together. Parents are shown ways to make the most of the learning opportunities in everyday life, supporting their babies’ and young children’s learning through play.
By using the programme in our groups, especially our Mini Toddler Group, we aim to help parents develop sensitive and responsive relationships with their children. We use every day learning opportunities – listening, talking, playing, singing and sharing books and stories together – so they together become confident communicators and learners through play.
