How to support us

You could make a real difference to The Churn Project. There are so many ways to support our work. You could nominate us as your company's Charity of the Year, or volunteer for us, or raise funds for us, you could offer us your expertise and skills, or you could donate cash to us directly.

Corporate Social Responsibility

We have a good track record of partnerships with local businesses which want to support us through their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes. Corporate support is often imaginative and enriches the way we work. Local companies have really helped us by offering their expertise (we have had help with training, health and safety protocols, developing robust financial systems), by holding fundraising events for us such as cake sales, quiz nights and sponsored activities, by offering help with our groups. Your company could help by:

- Adopting the Churn for a year

- Sponsoring Churn activities

- Giving your team volunteering opportunities

Volunteering

We could not offer the range of services we do without the help of hundreds of volunteers. Our trustees are volunteers who offer their expertise to help run the business side of the charity. We have Good Neighbours who go out and visit an older person in their home (or in a care home if they are a Young Neighbour). It is volunteers who deliver our newsletters. Plus many more who help keep us going – we may have just the opportunity for you.

Financial support

You could get involved by letting other people know about The Churn Project – perhaps you have a fabulous garden you could open in aid of The Churn, or you could do a sponsored event for us. We always welcome donations of cash – it is a real challenge to find funding. Why not read our newsletter? (Spring 2017).

We also need your expertise – Information Technology, Human Resources, teaching etc.

Why not get involved – and make that difference with The Churn Project?
